Description

Westgate Heights Daycare invites applications for the position of Early Childhood Educator. We are a new 50 space center committed to Christian values and principles that will serve families with children ages 18 months through five years. The centre will open in January 2012.

Minimum requirements:

• ECE Level 1, 2 or 3 (ECE diploma or equivalent)

• Current First Aid and CPR

• Well developed interpersonal skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Patient, warm, energetic, flexible, sensitive and responsive

• Clear current Criminal Record check and Vulnerable Sector check

• Ability to work a shift within centre hours of 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Mon – Fri


Daycare Opening Date: January 3, 2012 (one half day of staff training will be scheduled towards the end of December)

Compensation: Competitive based on education and experience.
