Description
1987 Acura Integra LS 3dr hatchback; Gold exterior - brown/tan cloth interior; 1.6 DOHC engine, 4spd auto w/ lock-up, power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes, factory alloy wheels, cold A/C, tinted glass, Sony AM/FM CD w/ 4 speakers, cruise, remote start, sunroof, tilt, KN air filter, 265K. $1400 OBO
THE BAD: Windshield should be replaced although can be driven as is; the usual Honda rust (overall pretty solid); minor exhaust leak at rear and for some unknown reason heater duct control is sticky.
THE GOOD: Plated - does not need certification; 40+ MPG hwy, engine does not use oil/antifreeze; starts/runs/drives fine; NGK Platinum plugs @ approx 230K; excellent tires (rear shows some wear, fronts like new); transmission rebuilt/updated by All-O-Matic @ 202K ($2300); new timing belt, tensioner, front engine seal, alt belt; steers/brakes absolutely straight, great handling; interior very good comfortable; A/C blows cold heater hot. No electrical issues. Acura owners manual & tools incl. The G1 Integra isnt far from becoming a collector car.
OVERALL: Good car for an owner who will provide TLC. This was my first and would still be an excellent vehicle for somebody. G1 Integras were rated as one of the best cars in the world; a good one performs better than a lot of newer ones. 931-2900 days - ask for Doug. Car is SOLD!!! Thank you Miranda!
PS: I have no way to contact you; if you notice this please EMail me; I found more parts (filters) that belong w/ the car. Thanks again!
